I have this issue, too. It seems that this is an openjdk problem as it occurs with many other programs. if you are on 32 bit you can switch to the sun jdk, but i couldn't find a solution for amd64

Ok, if it really is an openJDK issue, I'll close the bug. It works with the latest sun jdk (you need at least update 10 for the new nimbus look and feel.
